Servicio Educativo Award

LMSA is proud to recognize members of the healthcare community and related fields who demonstrate exceptional service to the Chicano/Latino community. The Servicio Educativo Award is one way we can thank our role models for culturally competent patient care.

By providing educative service to patients, students, and/or colleagues, these individuals are advancing our mission of improving access to and delivery of healthcare to Latinos and medically underserved populations.

We learn by their examples every day.

Wearing the Pin

It might start a simple conversation about cultural competency in the hallway. It might help someone feel more comfortable speaking Spanish. It might be a visual cue for a patient to ask a difficult question.

Whatever it might do, we hope it makes you proud to serve alongside us!
